Chelsea are not giving up hope on selling surplus striker David Datro Fofana until the summer 2024 transfer window closes for all leagues, with previous attempts with the Greek Super League side failing miserably.

Standard Sport reports that after Chelsea failed to reach an agreement with AEK Athens by the deadline on September 11, despite details stating that they had agreed to a season-long loan with an option to ยูฟ่าเบท buy outright for £20m next summer without obligation.

But in the end, the nitty-gritty details led to the negotiations collapsing, with the Ivorian returning to Cobham to find a way out of head coach Enzo Maresca’s squad.

At the moment, the most likely possibility is the Turkish Super League, as the market is still open until September 13. Club names such as Besiktas, Istanbul Basaksehir or Fenerbahce have appeared.

Of course, the Blues may have to be take advantage of at the negotiating table. Because those teams know the position of the English club.

It is likely to be a deal like a season-long loan, a salary cap of no more than 30%, an option to buy outright at a low price. In case the player performs well, so that they can be acquired and sold for a profit next year.

Fofana is the last remaining surplus player in the squad, along with left-back Ben Chilwell .
